About Ellen

Born and raised in Bayside, Queens, Ellen LaPerna is a longtime resident to this day and an integral part of the Bayside community. She brings a highly-qualified level of expertise to the residential community and business district of Bell Boulevard. Her extensive customer service and business background has allowed her to develop her skills and relationships, to build a thriving career in real estate.

Ellen graduated from Long Island University, CW Post with a B.S. degree in Business/Marketing. She has spent over fifteen years as a General Manager at Bourbon Street, a popular restaurant in Bayside. Ellen serves on the board of Trustees of the Bayside Historical Society, and has done so since 2018. These experiences have provided her a deep understanding of the local community’s people and property values, making her a great asset to her real estate clients.

Ellen was proudly honored with the Outstanding Community Service Award by Community Board 11 in 2009. She also previously served as a Marketing Coordinator for a marketing company, and as a Member Service Representative for a scientific non-profit professional association. Her marketing abilities are invaluable to her real estate clients, especially when listing properties for sale.

Ellen loves living in Bayside and appreciates its small-town feel and conveniences within the larger city. Through the years she has actively participated in many community functions and fundraisers. In her free time, Ellen most enjoys reading, sports and dabbling with crafts.
